Description
This text covers the use of
technology to investigate crimes. Students will
compare and contrast technology as it is used by both
law enforcement and criminal elements, and they will
learn to analyze attacks and apply countermeasures.
They will also learn how to use technology to gather
and analyze traditional data as well as specific
techniques for gathering and analyzing data found in
computer-based resources. The text introduces the
anatomy of computer-based crime and identifies
emerging technologies used in committing and combating
crime.
