Author(s)
Amy Davis, MA: Amy holds a Master's degree in
Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in
Sociology with a minor in Criminology. She is a
consultant specializing in Critical Incident
Management, and has co-authored the following books:
Psychological Support in Disasters and Interview and
Interrogation, with Eyewitness Testimony, Security
Principles, Planning & Procedures and Critical
Incidents in Hostage Negotiations.
Christy Davis, MS: Christy holds a Master's degree in
Instructional Leadership and Curriculum Development.
She has specialized in training in Curriculum Mapping
and Backwards Planning, and has worked in the field of
education for many years. She is the co-author of
Psychological Support in Disasters, and has a
Bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in
Criminal Justice.
Julie Gibson, MD: Dr. Julie Gibson received her M.D.
from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
She specialized in pediatrics and forensic pathology.
She was medical examiner for the greater Phoenix area
for 5 years. She has Master’s degrees in Human
Behavior and Business, and Bachelors degrees in
Psychology and Biology. Dr. Gibson is a registered
nurse with 7 years experience in a neonatal intensive
care unit. She has responded to multiple mass fatality
disasters.
